Yes, TFP has changed as well. Once, TFP was known as Time For Prints. I would spend hours in the darkroom to conjure up a set of 6-12 A4 sized prints from a session where 2 or three rolls of film were shot. In the age f digital, my number of shots has increased to fit the memory card inside the camera and TFP has become Time For Photos. This was generally a set of low resolution preview images with a few unmarked shots for private use and now.. TFP has becoe commercialized. Time For Payment. If the photographer wants to work with a model, the photographer pays the model. If the model needs photos, the model will pay the photographer. This has unfortunately become the new norm. I guess that this site is just following this trend which is killing amateur photography.

No wonder fotopatracka slowly dies, it was part of a world that no longer exists and if, so just marginally :( I guess, fotopatracka was build on TFP cooperation in the first place, but TFP collaboration can hardly be of any value when the photographs aren’t. In 2020 alone, 1.4 trillion were taken in the world :P most of them will disappear in time again but that's what shapes the world these days, to swim with the current, you don't need to have a portfolio of artistic photographs like in the old days, you have to post new pictures on your IG profile at least once a day or better more often O:) it can easily be a selfie, but that's all you need to do to attract attention of photographers ;) they may be a few here but they're surely all there and that's why most of the models have already left and and those who remain are looking more for an opportunity to make money then for photographs 3:) there's more money here than good photographs anyway :D

Personaly I strongly believe that the place is on a downward spiral. Photography has changed over the years. I recall events (yes, it shows my age and as I am over 50 now, I know that I a no longer one of the newbie's) where photographers and models would meet up for a drink and discuss projects. Models and photographers would bring their portfolios and show them. If there was a click and a project appeared interesting enough, a session would be scheduled. Since the internet took over, people no longer meet in real life before scheduling a session and this website has followed the same social trend. As long as you pay your subs, you will have access to the site and photographers showcase their work to advertise for models and models look for business. The last few TFP sessions that I have done have come from Instagram and Facebook. There are only a handful of people left on this platform whom I really respect and enjoy working with. So, does this site work for me? To be honest? I think it has lost its appeal.
Máte někdo podobnou zkušenost? díky všem a hezký den :)
